“FROM CHAMPIONS, COME CHAMPIONS.”
Judd and Jennifer Paul of Xenia, Ohio prove that quote to be true. Before they even met, both Judd and Jennifer were a part of numerous World and Congress Champions.
Judd, the son of Mary Paul and Donnie and Lu Ann Paul-Knost, was raised among gifted All-Around horses in Garrettsville, Ohio. Riding talents such as Guns Flash Bull and Melody Zipper, Judd got first-hand experience helping his step-mother show these famous mounts to numerous High Point Titles as well as World and Congress Trophies. Later, Judd began to win trophies of his own. Judd took home bronzes at such prestigious shows such as the Tom Powers and Whistle Shop Futurities.
Meanwhile, Jennifer was making a name for herself as well. In 1994 Jennifer was named Youth World Champion in Showmanship with Specifically Special. They also captured the High Point Award in the same year. In the following year the team won the All American Quarter Horse Congress in the NYATT
Showmanship. In 1997, Jennifer got a new mount, Ima Cool Diamond. Together they were named Reserve High Point Amateur Western Pleasure. In 2000, they returned to claim the High Point title in Amateur Showmanship. Jennifer then gave up her card in 2001 to focus on helping youth and amateur competitors.
After meeting in 2000 at the Whistle Stop Futurity, Judd and Jennifer were
married on November 15, 2003.
Now, the Paul’s own a 40 acre farm that includes turn-out lots, a 130 x 200
Outdoor Arena, a Heated Indoor Arena with 40 Stalls, as well as a Walker and Round Pen. They strive to educate and advance riders of all levels in both
English and Western disciplines. To them, it is about the right combination of horse and rider. Nothing is more rewarding to them then to see their clients reach their dreams in the show arena. They take their work very seriously, and as Judd says, “Practice, practice, practice, makes perfection.”
Judd received his National Snaffle Bit Association Judge’s Card in the Spring of 2007. They are also members of the American Quarter Horse Association’s
Professional Horsemen.

On August 11, 2007 Judd and Jennifer welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl, to their family. Allyssa Dawn Paul is already being sized for her first pair of Anderson Bean Boots! |
